From 2021-2023, we had the blessing to be in an exclusive partnership with NYU Stern’s Berkley Center for Entrepreneurship & sponsored by Monday.com. We hand-selected innovative start-up companies and talented designers(Parsons, NYU ITP, Pratt, SVA students & alumni) to hack the product-market fit through UX design & innovative AR/VR design solutions over 72 hours.
Highlights in the past
Start-ups
Post-Hackathon: One of the start-ups raised $4M after pivoting from our hackathon, one company got acquired(WHAT), and one company won one of the biggest start-up competitions in NYC, and the legacy continues.
Designers
As a unique hackathon that offers collaboration + community between start-ups <> designers, the design hackers got the best experience(some say even better than internships) working alongside start-up founders. Designers often get hired by high-profile start-ups as full-time designers or freelancers. And one of the designers even became a co-founder after the hackathon. Most of our designers loved how they learned business/product strategy + built amazing portfolios over a short period of time.
